Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Visalia Fence & Wall (a service of AuthenitcBrand, LLC) collects when you use this website, why, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.
Effective September 14, 2026. This draft is scheduled for attorney review within 30 days of the site going live; the effective date will update if that review changes anything.
1. Who we are and what this site does
Visalia Fence & Wall is operated by AuthenitcBrand, LLC. We are a referral and information service: we publish fence and block wall cost and planning research for Visalia-area homeowners in Tulare and Kings County, and when you ask us for quotes we pass your request to an independent, California-licensed fencing or masonry company that contacts you directly. We are not a fence or masonry contractor and we do not perform, quote or supervise any fence or wall work. Our Terms of Service describe that relationship in full.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit the quote request form we collect your name, phone number, ZIP code, the kind of project and material you select, any free-text details you add (footage, timing, HOA notes), and whether you checked the optional consent box (see §4). When you call the phone number on this site we collect the number you called from, the date, time and duration of the call, and — subject to §3 — the content of the call.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we receive standard technical data when you visit: IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the page that referred you, and approximate location derived from your IP address. See §6 for how analytics and cookies work here.
Information we do not collect. We do not ask for, and you should not send, payment card numbers, government identification numbers, or account passwords. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 (see §9).
3. Phone calls and call recording — California consent
Calls to the phone number on this site are routed through a call-tracking service so we can tell which requests reach an independent company. Calls may be recorded and transcribed. California is an all-party consent state: under California Penal Code § 632, a confidential communication such as a phone call may not be recorded without the consent of every party to it. For that reason every call to our number begins with a short recorded notice that the call may be recorded. By staying on the line after that notice you consent to the recording; if you do not want the call recorded, hang up and use the request form instead. If you call from outside California, your own state's law may also apply — the notice at the start of the call is there so you can decide before the conversation starts, whichever state you are in.
Recordings are used to route your request to the right company, to check the quality of our matching, and to resolve disputes. They are retained only as long as needed for those purposes and are then deleted.
4. SMS / text-message opt-in data
The quote request form includes an optional, unchecked consent box. If you check it, you are agreeing that Visalia Fence & Wall and the independent fencing or masonry company connected to your request may call or text you about that specific request, including by automated means. Checking the box is not a condition of getting quotes or of any purchase — you can leave it unchecked and still submit the form.
What we collect for SMS. If you opt in we store your mobile number, the exact consent wording you agreed to, the date and time you agreed, and the page you agreed on. This is kept as a record of your consent.
How SMS opt-in data is used. Only to communicate with you about your fence or wall request — for example to confirm we received it, to let you know which company has been assigned, or so that company can reach you to schedule a site visit. Message frequency varies with your request. Message and data rates may apply. Text STOP to any message to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Full program terms are in our Terms of Service.
No sharing of SMS opt-in data. Your mobile number and SMS consent information are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. The one exception is fulfillment of your own request: your name, phone number and the details you submitted are shared only with the specific independent fencing or masonry company needed to fulfill that request, so that it can contact you about it (see §5). That is the entire purpose of the site, and it is the only reason your contact information leaves us. Your SMS opt-in consent does not transfer to that company for any purpose beyond your request; if it wishes to send you automated marketing of its own, it must obtain your separate consent.
5. How we share information
We share information in these situations and no others:
- To fulfill your request. Your name, phone number, ZIP code and the details you gave us go to the independent company we match you with — one holding a California CSLB C-13 Fencing Contractor license for fence work, or a C-29 Masonry Contractor license for block and retaining wall work. That company is an independent business, not our employee or agent, and is responsible for how it handles your information once it has contacted you. We ask companies in our network to use your information only to respond to your request.
- Service providers. Companies that host this website, provide the call-tracking and lead-routing platform, and provide analytics process data on our behalf under contracts that restrict them to that purpose.
- Legal requirements. If required by law, subpoena, or a request from a public authority, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Visalia Fence & Wall, our users, or others.
- Business transfer. If the site or AuthenitcBrand, LLC is sold or merged, your information may transfer to the successor, which will remain bound by this policy.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.
6. Cookies, analytics and tracking
This site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful and how visitors reach us. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies and collects the technical data described in §2, including events such as a click on our phone number or a form submission. We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking. You can block cookies in your browser settings or install Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on; the site works without cookies. Our call-tracking provider may also set a cookie so that a call can be attributed to the page you were reading. We honor no automated "Do Not Track" signal because there is no agreed standard for one, but the cookie controls above achieve the same result here.
7. Your rights and choices
Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Delete your information, subject to records we must keep (for example, a record that you opted out of texts);
- Stop marketing communications — text STOP to any message, or contact us;
- Know which categories of information we collected and the independent company it was shared with.
We treat these as available to every visitor, including the rights California residents have under state privacy law, and we will not discriminate against you — for example by refusing to pass along your request — for exercising them. To make a request, use the contact page and tell us what you would like done; we may need to verify that you are the person the information belongs to before acting on it. We aim to respond within 45 days.
8. Data security and retention
Form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS and stored in our lead-routing platform, which is access-controlled and limited to the people who need to route requests. Call recordings and form data are kept only as long as needed to fulfill and follow up on your request, resolve any dispute, and meet legal record-keeping obligations, after which they are deleted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information we will notify you as required by law.
9. Children
This site is intended for adults arranging work on property they own or manage. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and our SMS program is limited to users 18 and older. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Links to other sites
We link to outside resources — CSLB's license lookup, city and county building departments, USA North 811, the California Legislative Information site, and the cost-data sources we cite — because they are useful. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
11. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date above. Material changes to how we handle SMS opt-in data or call recording will be flagged prominently at the top of this page for at least 30 days.
12. Contact
Questions or requests about this policy: use the contact page, or write to AuthenitcBrand, LLC, operator of Visalia Fence & Wall. Privacy requests are handled by the site operator directly, not by any independent company you were matched with.
